Worland, WY Director of Nursing Job Description
Worland Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, a skilled nursing facility located in Worland, Wyoming, is seeking a Director of Nursing with excellent clinical and leadership skills to oversee the clinical staff at the facility as well as manage clinical operations. Responsibilities include but not limited to: coordinating disciplinary resident care management efforts, ensuring effective and efficient organization & staffing of the nursing department, monitoring the outcomes of nursing services activity by evaluating the performance of the nursing staff, ensuring compliance with all facility and regulatory agency standards, policies & procedures - creating a safe & sanitary environment for residents, employees & visitors. The DON will also assume responsibility for the operation and management of the facility in the temporary absence of the Facility Administrator or as directed by the Administrator.
Worland, WY Director of Nursing Job Qualifications:
Previous DON experience in a skilled care environment (minimum of 2 years) and Wyoming RN license in good standing required. MDS knowledge a +. Must be able to demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
